In the software Management Studio ,BQ40Z50-R1 chemic ID number is more than BQ40Z50-R2.Why share the same chemic ID library files,but two different software ID number.

Do you mean the default chemID provided is different? Have double checked to see if the CHEMID database is the most up to date?

yes,It is update the latest.All gas gauge use the same chemic ID libarary,but the different chemic ID number between BQ40Z50-R1 and BQ40Z50-R1.

What do you mean that it is different ChemID between bq40z50-R1 AND bq40z50-R1? They are the same part.

sorry,the different chemic ID between bq40z50-r1 and bq40z50-r2.They should be use the chemic ID library.

BQ40Z50-R1 the chemic ID number start from "0100",but BQ40Z50-R2 ID number start from "0268".They use the same software"Battery Management Studio' and same ID library. The R1 ID number is much less than R2.

Hi User44411751,

I just found out that the R2 supports Turbo Mode and other features therefore the default chemID is different as we wanted to support all those features. Therefore the difference in the chemIDs is on purpose.
