I am using BQ24210 to charge a 500mAh lipo battery of a wifi sensor node.
I have a query regarding the possibility of overcharging the battery if solar input and the sensor node are active at the same time.
I have observed that a fully charged battery (4.2 V) reduces its voltage momentarily when the sensor node becomes active and the connected charger (other lipo charger) kicks into constant voltage mode.
Can this result in possible overcharging of the battery and eventually damaging it? Some leads in this will be highly appreciated.
