Can the NC pin of LM2594 connect to the GND?

Is there the problem when we connected an NC pin to the GND?
Our customer has already connected them.

It says no internal connection in the datasheet. It should be fine connecting to ground net.

It means that these pin are open that is not used for a test mode or others.
