Hello Everyone,

iam testing battery of model : lead acid , 12v voltage , 1.4 Ah capacity.

i am able to get voltage in bqstudio , but iam really confused to how to set up other parameters.

should i update design capacity =1400 mAH in bqstudio.?

 what is design energy ? what value should to  be updated. , default design energy scale is 1.

what are another parameters should be updated in bqstudio for learning cycle.

please help me regarding this.

    Hi Manoj,
    Design energy is basically the Design Capacity in mAh * Nominal Voltage in Volts. so for 1.4Ah and 12 Volts you will have a Design energy of 16800mWh if "Design Energy Scale" is set to 1. If you set "Design Energy Scale" to 10, then you can put in the value as 1680cWh.
    Section 8.2.2.1 of the data sheet has further instructions for setting up the data flash for your configuration.
    The important parameters are the:
    1. Voltage Divider
    2. Terminate Voltage and
    3. ChemID
