Hi,

I am trying to charge a 2S lipo Battery using this charge controller. I just want to make sure it is equipt with CC/CV or something that will ensure that each of the cells gets charged evenly so the battery does not overcharge and catch fire or explode. 

I also would like to know how to use the TS module to ensure the battery does not overheat.

Lastly, the diagram shows there are two loads attached to the output, but we only have one load. Is that ok??

    Are you charging a 2s battery pack or two discrete cell in series?

    If you are charging 2s battery pack, the usually the pack has internal cell balancing circuit. If you are charging 2 discrete cells, then the bq24650 does not have cell balancing feature. It can only regulate the voltage across the two cells.

    The bq24650 does autonomous charging with CC/CV stage and does not require external control for that.

    Yes, you can use the bq24650 only for charging the battery.
