Hi all.

Use the RTC on TPS6591133.

It use Panasonic CR2032 / 3V Coin Battery.

The circuit is composed as follows.

Can I apply the circuit as shown below?

Can I use the Panasonic CR2032 / 3V part?

I can not see the circuit.
TPS6591133 BAT + is connected to pin D7 and BAT- is connected to GND.

Hello,

To attach an image, you can click "Insert/Edit Media" option in the E2E editor.

Based on your description, it sounds like this will work for the VBACKUP pin. VBACKUP needs to be greater than VBNPR, which is specified as 1.9V to 2.2V in the datasheet. So the TPS65911 device will be able to maintain the BACKUP state as long as your coincell battery is above this voltage. Based on your battery capacity and current, you should be able to determine how long it will take to discharge to this level, and determine if that is acceptable for your system.
