TPS53319: soft start time accuracy

Hi,

Could you tell me about soft-start time of TPS53319?
What is the accuracy of 0.7 ms and 1.4 ms?
Please tell me if you have min / max value.
It does not have to be a guaranteed value, so it will be helpful if I can see your opinion.

Sakai-san,

Let me see if we have any data for it. From experience with other similar parts, the tolerance is not close. I would not be surprised if it is around +/- 30 %.

This is a bit complicated. The answer is not straight forward. We need to align this internally. It may take a few more days.

Here is the situation. The datasheet values give the nominal SS time. The test data that I have is for the time from EN asserted high to the end of the SS time. There is some significant delay (RF pin capture time, EN deglitch, etc) so the measured times are longer than reflected in the datasheet. For example for the 0.7 msec start time, the minimum start time is longer than the typical start time. as the SS time get longer the effect of the fixed delays is less so the distributions start to look more normal. If this measured total start time is of interest to you, please contact me directly.
