TLV62130: Pre-Biased Startup

Hello,

My Customer has qustion about pre-biased startup of TLV62130.

How many are the values of leak current output the following conditions?

PVIN/AVIN＝11V
EN＝0V
VOS＝3.1V（Pre-Bias）

Hi Nakamura-san,

The leakage from the 3.1V voltage is dominated by the current through the external FB divider. If the TLV62130A is used, the PG resistor will also sink current through its pull-up resistor, as the A version holds PG low when EN is low.

Of course, other circuitry (loads) that also see the 3.1V will draw their current.

Thank you quick reply.
Since customers are considering version A, we need to care for PG resistor too.
Are there data such as evaluation boards regarding those values?

Hi Nakamura-san,

It's not clear what your question is. If the PG pin is pulled up to applied 3.1V, the PG pin will sink current in the condition you detailed in the first post. This current is calculated by I = V/R.
