TPS61169: PWM dimming @ SLVA471

Part Number: TPS61169

Hi

My customer has question.I am in a hurry and I want comments.

Please cooperate me.

Customers watch this material and design the circuit.

From this Application Note, the waveform was measured under two conditions.

1.R2=1kΩ        2.R2=500Ω
 R1=3.9kΩ        R1=3.9kΩ
 Rflter=3.9kΩ    Rflter=3.9kΩ
 Cflter=2.2uF    Cflter=2.2uF
 Rset=2.2Ω    Rset=2.2Ω

PWM=Duty10%(3.3V⇔0V)

Please see the attached waveform.

TPS61169.pdf

1.When R1=1kΩ,the rise taim of the current wabeform is delayed.
 As a result, the current becomes smaller than the original duty 10%.
 Is this correct?

2.When R2=500Ω Does it match the waveform expected
  by TI Application Note? @ SLVA471.
※Customer are concerned that Peak of the current.(@170mA)

Since customers want to lower the current of light load (Duty 10%) only, we are planning to use R2 = 1 kΩ.
If R2 = 1 kΩ, you want to check if there is something wrong.

Best Regard
