Hi,

Could you tell me about TPS62130 out put voltage?
Customer sets the out put voltage to 0.86V.

The recommended minimum output voltage shown in the data sheet is 0.9V.
On the other hand, the Vref voltage is 0.8V.

Can TPS62130 set 0.86V?
If it is not good,
Please tell me the risk when setting it.
And Please tell me the background that 0.9V is specified as the minimum output voltage value.

Hi Yusuke-san,

The output voltage range was validated down to 0.9V only. It should be ok to set it lower, but this needs to be checked by the customer.

As well, the newer, smaller, more accurate TPS62135/6 are recommended over the TPS62130A. These new devices support Vouts down to 0.8V.

When the load transient timing,
the output voltage falls below 0.8V(Vfb voltage),
What kind of operation will this device operate?

Hi Yusuke-san,

As with any converter, the FB pin will fall below its regulation level during a transient. The converter then brings the output voltage back to the regulation point. The same is true for this IC.
