Passive balancing is done with external FET.

thanks for the replay,
i want to use BQ76PL536A-Q1 to drive external mosfets for active cell balancing circuits. Is that possible ?

you can find below a simplified schematic on what i want to do with the BQ76PL536A-Q1.

So my question here is this schematic possible to do or not ?

can the BQ76PL536A-Q1 drive my mosfets and monitor the voltage of my 6 cells with a range of 0 V to 1.6 V of each cell ( the hole battery voltage is 6*1.6 = 9.6 V) ?

thanks for sharing the block diagram.

CB pin should be at least 1V but you also have to find the FET with VGS to support your voltage range.
