Hello Texas Instrument Community!
I have been working with the design of a current regulator following the principles of buck converter to step down voltage across a load to obtain a desired current value. The main issue regarding the design is about connecting an output pin from the micrcontroller used to send the PWM signal of ON-OFF mechanism to 9 MID 300 12A4 IGBTs from IXYS. I have been unsuccesful with the search as there are ocassions which I am able to find the driver with the exact blocking voltage, but that does not fit the minimum required for sink and source currents.
I would appreciate if somebody could recommend me some gate driver models for this specific application or any current amplifier. The basic parameters to consider for the gate driver selection are:
BLOCKING VOLTAGE: 1200 Volts
SINK-SOUCE CURRENTS: 10-10 Amps
POWER DISSIPATION: 1.3 Watts
Thanks in advance any help provided on this inquiry.
