 I was wondering if you have any suggestions for what type of circuit board would work for the BQ25971 8A Switched Cap Battery Charger with Integrated Protection?

    Can you elaborate your question? Is the "circuit board" in your email referring to the charging adapor?

    The circuit board is referring to the BQ25971. I need a circuit board to put into a phone adapter casing that can work with my project. My project is s a smart charger that can identify that a cell phone is at 100% and then turn off the power to the device. I was planning on connecting this component to a female usb port.

    Ninad,
    bq25971 is an inductorless charger and does not work with a regular adapter with fixed output voltage. I think you are looking for a regular switching charger with an inductor such as bq24190 or bq25890 working with a regular adapter with fixed output voltage. The charger will disconnect the power to the battery when the battery is fully charged, which is described as termination.
