TINA/Spice/LM5085: Simulation of LM5085 in TINA and PSPICE

Part Number: LM5085
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi all,

I'm designing a 120W (Vin:24-72V, Vout:12V and Iout:10A) buck converter using the LM5085.

To know if my design fulfill the specifications, I'm using in parallel TINA and Orcad PSpice A/D by using the model of the LM5085, but I found that both give me very differents behaviours. For example, at 3ms the simulation carried out in TINA gives me 1.84V in contrast to the 250mV of PSPICE.

Anyone knows what's happening??

Many thanks for your help!

David
