On the spec, the TSD is 175 degree C, while the recommend operating condition is 150 degree.
If the output of TPS1H100 short to GND, it will trigger over current and eventually thermal shutdown.
My question is:
If Chip always in OTP mode, for a long time. Does the chip damaged after a while?
Or I don’t have to worried about it due to chip have own thermal sensor to prevent IC from damaged?
