Hi David,
If you are using the equations in the datasheet, the value you get is correct. I think I will get the same value as yours, but it will take some time.

I have used those equations and they gave me the same resales as the ones from the data sheet i even double checked the components that i switched out and they are all the values that i expected them to be just to reiterate what i am trying is how we get an Vout of 118.2V and an Iout of .155A using the equations that were provided we made the following changes with an Vin of 24V

I couldn't tell where these components are located. you could upload your schematic.
please specify your questions, is the boost working or not? is the output voltage higher or lower than your design? what is the output voltage now?

This is a picture of the TPS61196evm-600 schematic that we had edited all of the components that we have edited have there new values or part numbers labeled nest to the component and we have a list of all the changes at the bottom of the page. at the top it shows that we have an input voltage of 24 volts and an out put voltage of 88.7 Volts we are trying to get an out put voltage of 118 volts

I'd like to know how many channels you used in this design.

If six is used, then the inductor peak current would be 4.6A or higher, if you use the sense resistor of 0.18ohm, the voltage is 0.8V which hits the current limit so that the output voltage couldn't be reached.

you could try to use one channel to see if works.

the OVP voltage you set is too close to your normal working condition. If in normal application , the output voltage is 118V, please set the OVP voltage to 128V or higher since your electrolytic cap, mosfet and diode have sufficient voltage rating.
