TLC59116: VIL recommended condition

Hi team,

TLC59116's datasheet shows recommended condition for VIL is 0V~Vcc*0.3.

what if VIL voltage is below 0V but above min abs voltage -0.4V? will I2C communication be failure?

Hi, Henry,

The communication is fine.

But please avoid using such kind of voltage to stess the I2C pins for very long period.
