Dear Sir

Already as per our previous discussion on BQ24450 IC , I am using these IC for one of our Battery Backup project and today I had checked it Online I found that BQ24450 is NRND ,So is there any alternative part for BQ24450 , Our specs for the product are we are charging a Two 12 volt battery with 12 AH capacity in parallel which makes 24 volt as they connected in parallel , For headroom we are giving 28 Volts as input to battery through Battery charger IC and current of about 2 to 3 ampere max ,Again current will depend upon battery status but max it will be 2 to 3 ampere.

The bq24450 is NRND (not recommended for new design) but is not end of life, device will continue to be available.

The IC design is very old and we need to discourage new applications.

No plans to End of Life the bq24450 similar device UC2906 / UC3906 are still available long after they have been NRND.

Dear Sir

Thanks for your reply , We may be using BQ24450 or else BQ24650 for our application. We would require support for the BQ24650 as we will be using these IC.
