Can the LP592201's SS/NR pin be connected directly to input? We are considering this because to fix a footprint problem.

Hi Bailey,

the SS/NR pin is internally connected to the 0.5V voltage reference. Directly connecting this pin to Vin would not be a good idea...

Hi Bailey,

Shorting Vin to SS/NR will likely damage the SS/NR pin. This pin is for soft start and noise reduction and it should only be connected to ground through a capacitor.
