Hi,

currently, I m LT1510 CS/CV AS THE BATTERY CHARGER iC TO CHARGER Nimh (NV:3.6V, Capacity:2100mAh) but its failing.

could u please suggest me TI charging ic that can charge both Nimh battery and li-ion cell?

Please check bq2000 charger. It can charge both NiMH and Li-ion battery.
Also, an application note talks about how does a bq24105 Li-ion battery charger charge a NiMH battery? www.ti.com/lit/an/slua843/slua843.pdf

Sorry, bq24105 doesn't have power path management function to support 1.5A when the charge is off.

I also don't find a standalone charger IC with 5V input to charge both NiMH and Li-ion battery.

Hello, Anusha:

Please let me know the maximum charger voltage for that 3.6V battery. most batteries needs to be charged to 4.2V to get full charge. Some batteries needs to be charged to 4.35V.
If you cannot adjust the minimum input voltage up, you may have to use a buck boost charger (BQ25703A). But, it is I2C charger, not standalone charger.

Maximum charging voltage IS 4.2V
I found BQ24090 AND BQ24250 charge IC which satisfy my reqirements?! But thing is i dont want use Temparature sensing as input. How to make invaild input in case of bq24250 ? (BQ24090 is sepecified in the data sheet)
