I want to design a gauge for two parallel connecting battery, Is bq27411G1A the right selection?
Hi Feiyue,
There are a variety of options to choose from.
-Is your battery system or pack side? Are they going to be detachable?
-How much accuracy is expected from the gauge?
-Will your cells experience periods of relaxation or will the cells be continuosly cycled?
-What is the capacity of the two cells in parallel?
-Is protection a feature that is needed for the cells?
-What kind of application is your end product?
thanks
Onyx
The chip was selected by my colleague. And I think it can satisfy our requirements.
All I need to do is to carry out a learning cycle. But I don't know if bq27411 can apply to two parallel connecting battery.
I notice that bq274411 is a Single-Cell Li-Ion Battery Fuel Gauge.
what does the word " Single-Cell" mean?
a gauge for only one battery ? or the number of Series Cells is one and parallel connecting cells is acceptable?
My gauge resides in pack side.
And the accuracy of bq27411 is acceptable.
And I have protecting circiut using other chips
The capacity of the two cells in parallel is about 4.4A.h,each of cell is about 2200mA.h.
