Regulated power supply Vin=24v Vout=5v to 35v

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25118, LM5175

Hi guys,

I'm intertesed in use a power regulator that with an input of 24v and using a buffer to control feedback can have an vout of 5v to 35v.

My first option is a cheap option that was using a MC34063 to boost 24v to 36v and then another MC34063 to step-down that voltage, but I'm not sure if it is the best.

Another option is to use the LM25118 to do that but I have to consider the compensation network

wich option do you think that will be better.
