Hi Ti Team,

We planned to use Battery powered system in one of our project, for that we seeking an perfect battery charger IC with all our below criteria satisfied.

Battery Specificaiton:

Chemistry Type: LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate)

No. of series Cells: 2

Battery Output Voltage: 6.4V

Capacity: 850mAH to 1000mAH

Charger IC Requirement:

Must be Automotive Grade part (AEC-Q100)

Must be Switching Buck converter with Integrated Mosfet

Must support min of 2 series cell charging.

Control Interface must be Stand Alone type.

Input/supply voltage: 12V

Please help here to find out suitable battery charger IC part number and let us know if any clarification needed.

    bq24630 can meet the requirement except "Must be Automotive Grade part (AEC-Q100)".
    The only multi-cell automotive Grade part (AEC-Q100)" that I know is bq24105-Q1 which is a Li-ion battery charger: the charge voltage setting is flexible which can support 2S LiFePO4 battery charge voltage. But, the re-charge threshold, pre-charge threshold and TS pin setting are different than LiFePO4 setting.
