    Hi Lawrence,

    Thanks for your interest in UCC28056. What protections does your customer require to have latch off protection (overcurrent, overvoltage, etc)? Also would your customer to realize latch off protection in the PFC or LLC controller?

    PFC and LCC both too need latch function(OVP,OCP)
    and i reference PMP21098 it`s look like customer inquire.
    if any suggestion, Please advise me.

    Hi Lawrence,

    For latch off in the LLC, you can use the circuit in PMP21098. Replace the temperature sensor with a comparator for OVP detection. The comparator needs to be active low to engage the latch.

    For latch off in the PFC, you can use a latch circuit connected to the COMP pin through a diode. 

    You can use the voltage on the current sense resistor in the source of the boost MOSFET and a comparator for overcurrent detection. You can use a second resistor divider connected to the output and a comparator for overvoltage detection.
