I have a question about MC33063A.

Please tell us the recommended circuit under the following conditions.

we want to know external circuit and of value peripheral parts.

(For example, L=--μH, Cout=--nF and so on)

Vin=5.3V ±10%

Vout=12V±10%

Iout=350mA(max)

must you select this old device? some new device like TPS61089 is simpler and high efficiency

Our customer uses this IC from before.
They want to use MC33063A.

the output current is too large for this device. for the VIN and VOUT condition, the output current capability is approximately 0.25A.

MC33063A External Components Design.xlsxthe datasheet has the formula to calculate the external components in page 14. you can use this excel for you reference. the inductor peak current should below 1.5A
