Hi team

I have three question about diagnosis

#1

Can perform diagnosis at working?

According to the following figure diagnosis can only occur in waiting mode

If overloaded, must INx be set to Low be implemented diagnose?

How does this device work If overloaded?

(keep INx High)

We try Open load, FAULT does not output Low

What settings are we missing?

    Hello,

    1- The diagram in figure 37 shows the states normal and standby. It shows also diagnostic in standby mode. Diagnostic is active when DIAG_EN is high. There is no diagnostic if DIAG_EN is low. Diagnostic in overload condition both DIAG_EN and IN should be high. If IN is low the FET is off and load current is 0A. Please check table 1 and 2 in page 19.

    2-   Please check table 1 and 2 in page 19.

    3- In open load if IN is high the output is high. If IN is low the output needs pull up resistor to keep it high for open load diagnostic
