Hi Sir 

I saw LM5122 can support bypass function when Vin > Vout ,the Vout will follow Vin voltage 

Can non-sync boost solution support Vin > Vout ? for example TPS55340

    Hi Kai,

    Bypass mode is specified as when the high-side MOSFET is on when the input voltage higher than the target output voltage. In a sync boost by turning on the high side FET the voltage drop of the body diode is eliminated. In a non-sync boost there is no high-side FET to turn on so the diode voltage drop will still be present. The diode will still conduct when VIN is greater than VOUT.
