Looking for Low line input PFC solution

Hi team,

My consumer is looking for PFC solution for low line application, could you please suggest a PFC controller that might meet the following spec?

VIN = 24VAC

VOUT = 36V/300W

PF > 0.9

Is UCC28180 suitable for this low line application?

    Hello Wei-Hao,
    I believe that all of the pfc controllers can be used for a low voltage sine wave input.
    The UC28180 is probably the easiest part to use for a 300W application.
    Note that there is probably an input voltage range on the 24Vac nominal line.
    The output voltage needs to be a few volts (5-10 V) higher than the peak of the AC line at max input AC.
    So you will need to know the max input voltage.

    Do you know what application this is used in ?
