TLC59284: TLC59284 Sink Current

Hi TI Expert,

For TLC59284, I do have a concern on the sink current.

At the datasheet, it stated that the constant current sink capability is 35mA for VCC < 3.6V.

This means the all total of 16 channel sink current  is 35mA or every channel will have max 35 mA sink current?

Please kindly advise.

As for ST STP16CPC26, it do have max 90mA sink current capability for every channel.

Is there any suggestion for TI part that match the specifications and price?

    Hi,

    It means every channel has the current sink capability for 35mA max if Vcc < 3.6V.

    If you are looking for a 90mA device, please check TLC5926. It supports 120mA max current for each channel.
