Hi,

Could you tell me the Load-bearing of the following device?
·TPS51206DSQR

The customer is considering attaching fins to the device.
I would like to know Load-bearing under the following conditions.

【Condition】
I would like to know Load-bearing when considering the solder connection part with the board after mounting the board with the recommended footprint.

There is no problem even if it is not guaranteed value.
Do you have such information?

    Hi Yuto,

    What's the load current and ambient temperature in customer's application?

    TPS51206 uses thermal pad on the bottom case to dissipate most heat.

    I'm not sure if the fins on its top case help much for thermal performance.
