The output voltage : 8.1V

The output current: 72A

The priority of customer selection :

1. cost

2. easy to design

Hello Mark and thank you for your interest in TI Designs. Please try the PMP10979. You'll need to make some adjustment on the output voltage to get the Vout down to 8V, but the Vin and output current you specified on your initial query should fit what you are looking for.
