TPS92515: Rsens issue

Hi,

I am simulating now TPS92515 LED driver in PSPICE and I am just wondering how to switch with control signal from MCU between 2 different Rsens resistors ( I use 5.3 Ohm for 36mA Iled, and 0.13 Ohm for 1A Iled)

Rsens is very small and very sensitive on any switch Ron. This resistor is also not connected to gnd. Do you have some suggestions or proposal on any IC?

    Hello Marcin,

    Switching the current sense resistor is not a recommended method of dimming, it could cause all sorts of issues. If you need different current levels you can use different IADJ voltages, PWM dimming, or both together to get the lower current level.
