TPS84610: Dual TPS84610 tracking

I want to have several TPS84610 track like figure 33 in the datasheet. I can probably do it by cascading voltage dividers per the diagram but I would like to understand what is going on.

However, the functional block diagram on page 7 of the datasheet is ambiguous.

I have figured out that Vref is 0.8V and that the current source is 2.3uA. What does the triangle between Vref and Comp mean?

  • The symbol in the block diagram is a transconductance error amplifier. The error amplifier compares the VADJ voltage to the lower

    of the SS/TR pin voltage or the internal 0.8-V voltage reference.
