TPS53353: Minimum Output capacitor value.

Hello,

I designed 12Vin, 1Vout, 15A buck circuit with TPS53353 as attached.

Output capacitor value is recommended 600uF, but it's too high, so wants to know the minimum output capacitor value.

Can I use under 100uF?

    Output capacitor selection is a bit complicated. It depends on the type of capacitor (what is the ESR?), switching frequency and your transient load step requirements. I suggest you read the datasheet in detail, especially section 7.4.1. Let me know if you have further questions.
