Hi Andrew,

I'm currently using the BQ76Pl455 in one of my designs, the device supports 6 - 16 cells, therefore you could use 2 of these devices and utilise the differential communication lines to daisy chain them together. I.e. each device could measure 9 cells.

Hi Andrew,

Alex is exactly correct. I recommend using two PL455 to monitor 9s each and communicate through the daisy chain. TI does not currently offer an 18S device.
