LM5116: LM5116

Part Number: LM5116

Hi,

I have designed a DC DC converter using LM5116 that has a maximum limit of input voltage upto 100V. My input may sometimes (in very rare cases) go up beyond 100V (say 120V max.). Should i provide an overvoltage protection circuit separately so that the high voltage doesnt damage the IC or other circuits connected at output end of the converter? Please clarify.
