TPS546C20AEVM1-746: I am curious about the output control method and the connection method.

Part Number: TPS546C20AEVM1-746
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS546C20A

Hi,

We are going to purchase "TPS546C20AEVM1-746".
Before purchasing the "TPS546C20AEVM1-746" we would like to confirm two things about the function.

Our test environment is "TPS546C20AEVM1-746" + "USB-TO-GPIO" + "notebook" and multimeter, oscilloscope.

[Q1]

The output we want is 0.35V ~ 1.65V / 30A.

However, on page 3 of the "User's Guide for the TPS546C20AEVM1-746" the output is described as "0.9V to 35A"

and on page 10 is described as "VOUT_SCALE_LOOP = 1 (0.35V ≤ OUTPUT VOLTAGE RANGE ≤ 1.65V) have.

Can not we get "0.35V ~, 35A" output with "TPS546C20AEVM1-746"?

[Q2]
We will first complete all tests on the TPS546C20A with the "TPS546C20AEVM1-746 (with Notebook)".

Next, we will design the circuit to control the TPS546C20A from the MCU.

How do I connect the MCU to the TPS546C20A to control the TPS546C20A using the PMBus in the MCU (ATmega128A)?

Thank you for reading my poor English through.
