Dear TIer

      I had ask about BQ25703A charge done function and had reply me there are no current termination function.

But my customer test that when BQ25703A when bat voltage near charge voltage, it seem our charge would be auto turn off charge current.

So they want to make sure would BQ25703A auto turn off charge current by battery voltage or by what behaver?

    Bruce,

    To define the charge termination, it should disconnect the battery charging path.  When the charger output reaches the voltage regulation point, the charge current could taper down to zero. But, the BATFET is still turned on and the converter still applies and regulates the BAT output voltage.

    To turn off the charge, please set charge current register to zero or set the inhibit bit to 1.
