TPS92518HV-Q1: TPS92518EVM-878 and LEDSPIMCUEVM-879

Part Number: TPS92518HV-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92518EVM-878, LEDSPIMCUEVM-879

Hi,

We are working on a new design for an existing LED controller product.

We are very interested in seeing if the TPS92518HV-Q1 would be an effective replacement for HV9961 part that we are using in the current design.

Are the TPS92518EVM-878 and LEDSPIMCUEVM-879 evaluation modules currently available, and what would be the best way to get them?

Thank you,

Bruno

  • Hello Bruno,

They are available and come as a pair. To get them you need to go to:

Then in the red box at the top labeled "Important Note" you can click on the "Request Now" link. Thanks.

    Regards,

    Clint

  • Hi Clint,

    That is great to hear.

I have previously tried that link and the resulting form a couple of times, with no response, and I saw another posting that said that was the method to request the associated software.  The verbiage in the upper left part of the resulting page says something about download instructions, so that left me somewhat uncertain.

I think I may have initially tried last week, or the week before, and again this week.  Am I being to impatient?

A screen capture of the verbiage on the resulting page follows.

    Thank you!

    Bruno

  • Hello Bruno,

I do not see the screen shot. But I will contact the right people to see if they have seen your request. If/when your request is granted you will be able to get the software and documents under the "myIT" link and the "mySecure software" link. I will let you know about the request when I hear back.

    Regards,

    Clint

  • Hi Clint,

    That sounds great.

I updated my previous post to include the screen shot.

Thank you, and have a wonderful day!

    Bruno
  • Hi Clint,

The TPS92518HV-Q1 is a very impressive part, and the evaluation modules are equally impressive. Congratulations to the entire design team.

Is there any chance that it could be successfully deployed in a common anode configuration?

We are trying to develop a single module that can drive 8 different light strings, with current requirements ranging from 68 to 3150 mA, from a 35 V supply.

    Thank you!

    Bruno
