BQ34110: Once a device has been sealed, is there any way to make it stop returning to sealed mode upon reset?

I have been working with the bq part on our board for months and never sealed it and it always powered up in full access mode.

Yesterday, I sealed it using bqstudio.

Now I find, even if I unseal it, it always returns to sealed mode upon reset.

Is there any way to make it stop returning to sealed mode upon reset?

Hi Mark,

Once the seal command has been send, the device will seal after a reset.

To ensure the device remains unsealed between resets, please unseal the device followed by unseal full access. Then, program the device with the previous SREC.

Reset the device to test.

The bq34110 should now remain unsealed until the seal command is sent.
