Dear all,
One of my customer met a problem when using LP2996 in his desigin. He wants to replace lp2996M with lp2996A,and found a big difference between them .LP2996A has a pad thermal connection in the back of the IC,but LP2996M has no.The PCB has no relevant design about thermal pad,can it be replaced directly??or should be redesign the PCB??
