Dear Support team

I have two question about spread spectrum function.

(1)Does the spread spectrum function affect the floor noise at the radiation noise test?
If so, how much frequency will it affect?  My customer would like to check if it affects the RF band.

(2)There is an option with and without spread spectrum function of LMR14030-Q1,
but is there any disadvantage of the spread spectrum option?

    Hi,

    Spread spectrum will increase floor noise few dB on conductive noise band(<108MHz), Most likely it require metal shielding to pass radiation noise test, so no need to care more about noise floor change.

    Spread spectrum will introduce small output ripple voltage with the freq is about 1/256 of nominal switching freq. pay more attention on this if it affect load signal band.
