BQ27541: operation current

Hi,

I used BQ25541 in battery package, There are 20 of 2000 BQ27541 operation current is 200uA~20mA, the typical value is 131uA in datasheet , it looks like there's something wrong with the chip, Do you have any suggestions to reduce operation current ?

Are you able to communicate with these devices? if so can you connect to bqstudio and share the register screen. Does cycling power on the ic remove this problem?

Can you try reflowing the solder of the ic incase there is a short somewhere.

Is this data？ Do “cycling power” mean power down and power up again？ It can not remove the problem。

Hi Li,

The shutdown flag is set in the screen shot you sent? Why is that? Have you tried reflowing the solder connections of the IC to see if the problem goes away
