Hi Support team
I have a new customer who is struggling due to unanswered questions in a very old post.

Comments from the customer
It mentions the bq78350, but the Technical Reference Manual for the bq78350-R1 contains the same errors (section 12.2.5).
Notice how there’s no answer to the question about the FCAL_CC value.
If you look in the reference manual in that section, there’s some long overly-complicated explanation of the FCAL_CC value. That value is simply a signed 16-bit integer in 2’s complement format.
Near the bottom of the forum page is the information needed to decode the floating-point format, which is not adequately explained in the TRM (section 18.2.3 – “Exp[15-22]” should read “Fract[15-22]”).
For another example, in section 12.2 of the TRM (p77), the explanation of the output format for 0xF082 is just plain wrong. It is missing “YY” from the format, as well as a final term “kkKK”. The table is incorrect as well; VAUX Voltage is actually 4 bytes, EEee and FFff (the rows following it should be shifted down one term).
The manual is full of issues like this, things that a simple proofreading should have caught. (e.g. see section 12.2.1, step 5, and compare it to the table for 0xF081 on the previous page!)
So is there a plan to update the document and can you explain and answer the questions about the FCAL_CC value?
Thanks
