Hello team,

I have a customer who has a DC/DC requirement to step up from two alkaline batteries to go up to 12V with currents up to 50mA.
Please advise me on an ideal component with good efficiency.

A second requirement is to reach +15V and -15V from two alkaline batteries do TI have such a solution?

please have a look at TLV61046A, or TPS61046 if require smaller IC package. you can also use this device with phantom circuit to generate +-15V

Thank you for your suggestions since this application is battery operated, Quiescent current (Iq) must to be less for longer battery life.
Can you advise if there are another candidates?

this device is the best we have for this application.
will you shutdown the 12V sometimes, or the 12V will be always on?

as far as I know, the first step-up stage should be always on, the second stage for the +-15v will be turn off and on for periods of time.

the TPS61096A has very small quiescent current which can be always on, but its load capability is only 25mA level from alkaline batteries, depending on the minimum battery voltage.
what is the loading, why it need 50mA?
