TPS61322: 3.7v -> 5v 1.5A power supply using TPS61322

Hello all,

I am trying to build a boost converter to run a strip of LED's, I need 5v 1.5A and to be powered off 3.7v lithium ion battery.

I have been trying to use the 5v version of the TPS61322 but it seems to be current limiting.

My thoughts are, maybe different schottky diode? different RC combination? different inductor? if anyone has experience with this please let me know, I would really appreciate the help

No matter which kind of schottky diode you use, TPS613222A can't support such high load. the min current limit is 1.1A.

fot this load level, recommend using TPS61253A.

If you can't use TPS61253A because of the WCSP package, then you can use new part TPS61022 if the schdule is not tight, TPS61022 will be released early next year!
