Hi:

our customer have one series project of industrial LED lighting application. they have three switch power supply spec.: 24V,48V,12Voutput. And they need three solution, the output spec. as below

1. 24V 2~3A

2. 24V 10~20 A

3. 48V 5~10A

which could TI part be suitable for these spec. ?

Hello Jonas,

What input voltage range will be available? Are there any analog or PWM dimming requirements? Are one of the three listed supposed to be 12V @ xxA?

three input can be used. so we can suggest buck or boost toplog. the mainly point is the output spec.

Hello Jonas,

Those current levels are quite high and may be difficult to get with a boost topology so it is good you have the option for a buck converter. In that case the best option would be the TPS92640. It is a synchronous controller and there is a reference design for up to 20A in the product folder if you would like to take a look.
