BQ76PL455EVM: How to conect a BQ76PL455EVM module to a bq76PL455A-Q1?

Hi.

I'm trying to connect the module BQ76PL455EVM to the bq76PL455A-Q1 but I have problems, I have connected to the daisy chain communication. The module is connected to the PC but the software only detects a single board.

Adrian,

You must either solder the socket onto the EVM, or solder the IC on the EVM. I don't think that the daughter card has the required support circuitry to communicate differentially.

But both could communicate by daisy chain and the software should detect the other board ?

That's what I'm trying to do but I do not know how to do it, i already connect the pins of the daisy chain communication the chip in low and the evm in high but I do not know if i need another configuration in the BQ76PL455A-Q1 for the evm detect the chip.

Adrian,

The pl455 IC cannot operate independently. At the bare minimum it needs its power rails and the communication isolation to work as a stacked device.

You should either develop a PCB similar to our EVM, or use another EVM.
