Could you tell me about open load detection threshold current?



Customer want to increase this threshold.
Is there a way to increase the threshold current value?
Or do you have a product with a high threshold?

  • Yusuke-san,
    The open load detection in on state has wide limit and accuracy is not great. For that reason I suggest using the TPS1H100B-Q1. The current sense accuracy, at 25mA, is 10%. The judgment for open load detection is user's decision. It can be measured at CS pin and define the Vsc voltage level to be considered as open load. I hope this helps and let me know for further support.
