Hi，I want to use TPS40210 design as (Vin=12V, Vout1=12V/0.2A，Vout1=-12V/0.2A） Positive and negative output ，from the dataheet can be known TPS40210 with flyback ，could you help check whether TPS40210 can be done it，if can，could you help to give me Classical application circuit？tks！

Hi Daren,

Thanks for asking your question. If this application do you need to have the have isolation? If not, a buck converter can be used to implement a positive to negative converter. If isolation is required a flyback converter should be used.

The TPS40210 is a good selection for this application. A number of reference design as available at the TI Designs Website. The typical application schematic will look like any flyback design found on this website. The only difference is that there will be a second winding on the secondary side to generate -12V.

Hi Garrett，thanks for your reply，I understand the TPS40210 can use flyback design it，however，TPS40210 need External MOS，which is increase cost；could you help recommend one solution inside MOS can finish the same function，tks！

The TPS55340 might be a good solution for this application. This application report should help you design a flyback using the TPS55340.
